Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission (TNPSC) has released the Result of the Combined Civil Services Examination-II / IIA (Group-II Services / Group-IIA Services) 2022. Candidates can check and download the result from the official website tnpsc.gov.in.

The TNPSC Group-II Services / Group-IIA Services preliminary exam 2022 was held on May 21. The recruitment drive is being conducted to fill up a total of 5529 posts in different departments and services of the Tamil Nadu government.

Steps to check TNPSC Group 2 / 2A Result 2022:

1. Visit TNPSC website tnpsc.gov.in
2. Click on Latest Results/Result declaration schedule page.
3. Now click the link for Combined Civil Services Examination-II / IIA (Group-II Services / Group-IIA Services).
4. The TNPSC Combined Civil Services Examination-II / IIA (Group-II Services / Group-IIA Services) Result PDF will download appear on screen.
5. Check the Result with your Register Number.

Selection Procedure

(A) Interview Post:

The selection of candidates for appointment to the posts mentioned in Table-I will be made in three stages viz., (i) Preliminary Examination for selection of candidates for admission to the Main Written Examination (ii) Main Written Examination and (iii) an Oral Test in the shape of an Interview and Counselling. The Preliminary Examination is meant to serve as a screening test only. The marks obtained in the Preliminary Examination by the candidates who are declared qualified for admission to the Main Written Examination will not be counted for determining their final order of merit. The number of candidates to be admitted to the Main Written Examination will be 10 times the number of candidates to be recruited having regard to the rule of reservation of appointments. However, in each reservation group, all the candidates who secure the same marks as that of cut off marks of their reservation groups shall also be admitted to the Main Written Examination, though the number of candidates to be admitted to the Main Written Examination may exceed 1:10 ratio. The final selection will be made based on the total marks obtained by the candidates in the Main Written Examination Paper-II and Oral Test taken together, subject to Rule of Reservation of Appointments.

(B) Non-Interview Post:

The selection of candidates for appointment to the posts mentioned in Table-II will be made in two stages viz., (i) Preliminary Examination for selection of candidates for admission to the Main Written Examination (ii) Main Written Examination and Counselling. The main written examination will be held on 25.02.2023 FN & AN.

The candidates who have been admitted provisionally to the Main Written Examination have to pay ₹ 200/-(Rupees Two hundred only) towards the examination fee (unless exemption of fee is claimed) and should upload the scanned copy of documents in support of the claims made in the online application from 17.11.2022 to 16.12.2022 (5.45 P.M.) in the e-seva centres run by TACTV. List of designated e-seva centres is available in the website. The payment gateway will be closed one day before the last date of uploading of documents. Hence, the candidates are directed to pay the fees on or before 15.12.2022. The details regarding the documents to be uploaded will be made available in the Commission’s Website and candidates will be informed of the above fact only through SMS and e-mail. Individual communication in this regard will not be sent to the candidates by post

The provisional admission to the Main Written Examination is based on the claims (viz., Date of Birth, Religion, Communal Category, Gender, Educational Qualification, Differently Abled Category, PSTM Status etc.,) made by the candidates in the online applications. 

While uploading documents for certificate verification, the candidates claiming exemption from Tamil Eligibility Test are directed to upload the 2 evidence as prescribed in G.O.(Ms.)No.8, Welfare of Differently Abled Persons (D.A.P.-3.2) Department, dated 21.09.2021 and G.O.(Ms.)No.49, Human Resources(M) Department, dated 23.05.2022
